It has a slightly stiffened drape and is a soft material. You can feel the woven texture on both the face and the back. The fabric has a matte finish. At 9.11oz it is a heavy weight fabric which gives it a fantastic opaque quality. This charming fabric is perfect for cushions and light upholstery as well as crafting.

This blend uses a plain weave construct with slub yarns in the weft to give a bit of personality and texture. Our Printed Cotton Linen fabric weighs 6.7oz, is smooth to the touch, and has a solid opaque body.  Linen strengthens cotton, making it very strong and durable. Its strength and water absorbent nature makes this blend a very versatile material. It is used for a range of home wares, such as napkins and tablecloths.

Our Cottage Cotton Slub is made solely of natural cotton with irregular slub yarns that run through the warp and weft of the fabric, giving a rustic texture. The noticeable slub yarns give this fabric an atypical texture, almost like cross-hatching. To the touch, it feels similar to linen with a slightly stiff handle. The fabric is light and airy and has a rustic feel overall. You'll notice that the fabric is a bit sheer, which highlights these slub yarns even more. This is a taught weave without much give. At 3.16 oz, Cotton Slub fabric is lightweight and breathable making it suitable for home linens such as tea towels, table linens and bedding.
